A Process Oriented Project That Ties Two Cities Across A Great Distance
Criminology
Exhibition at 2nd Floor Gallery, 937 Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh, PA, U.S.A. and Galleria Fafa, Helsinki, Finland
New experimental work by a group of five Pittsburgh-based artists and one Helsinki artist consists of a series of parallel pieces to be executed simultaneously in Helsinki and in Pittsburgh and displayed in an ever-evolving, living show. The project demonstrates a collection of methods for drawing connections between the two kindred cities; multi-media works are infused with elements of swift information gathering, selective observation, and debatable deduction. The exhibition will run through September 10th in Helsinki and through September 12th in Pittsburgh with two special events occurring later on September 30th and October 1st.
